I've never overclecked before. I've been told both of my 300a's will do 450. I have a Biostar M6TWG mobo that has the i810 chipset and both a slot 1 and ppga connector. I have one of each 300a. On the mobo i have a choice to set the fsb to either 66 or 100 via a jumper, but at 100 the board doesn't boot. It beeps at me. At 66 I can boot and go into the bios. There i can set the FSB to 66, 75, 83, 95. At 95 I get nothing on the screen and I have to reset the bios. It posts at the other fsb's correctly. Does this sound like i can't make it that high?

What was the talk about the b21 pin on these cpu's. Is there something I can do so they are recognized as 100mhz fsb?

Thanks for any help.

OK CHICOs,
Here's my update. I taped the b21 pin on my slot1 celeron and once I set the jumper for 100mhz on my i810 board, it worked like a charm. I found out how to tape the pin over to tom's. Anyone know which pin this would be on my socket 370 celery?

Someone in the General topic said that i810's are poor overclockers!!!

The whole board is in spec except the CPU, to how is that poor for overclocking!!!
