3007WFP-HC calibration blues

Hello all,

Just got this monitor, a dream come true! well, until I installed it and checked a few pics...

I knew this model was no good until calibrated, and since I have no access to a hdarware colorimeter I got Digital Versus' ICC profile for this same model. Followed instructions and set their profile as default. The result was a too bluish pic (looks like too high temp).

Any clue on what should I do now? Although the naked eye is not the most accurate measure, I'm pretty sure this profile ain't working.

(this is Win7 64-bit, GeForce GTS 250, driver v. 190.62, btw)

Any help would be much appreciated!
