3000rpm/High CFM 80mm

Hello,

I'm looking to replace my current 80mm fans (3000rpm ys tech's) with something similar but of higher quaility.

The thing is I can deal with the air noise movement of these fans but they also have a nasty motor whine that changes frequencies. They were kind of cheapo fans too so I'm thinking if I can get some better ones it would be good.

However I guess there isn't much call for such high rpm fans these days and so finding some is looking tricky.

If anyone knows of any such fans please let me know. Thanks.

Posters, 3000rpm...Right. I fudged at 3200rpm 🙂

Check the fans at http://www.allelectronics.com/ or http://www.bgmicro.com/
If you do your homework you might find VG quality fans for cheap=<$5.

If you have monie$ and room for 80x38s look at this model. Be sure to look at his other 80mm fans.

Look here if the DTB interests you. I have them in 92mm and 120mm. They undervolt with real sweetness.

All Delta Triple Blades have a tach/sensor feed wire and undervolt very well=no clicking or growling
on a Sunbeam Rheobus.

Although I can't comment on the noise Y.S. Tech make very good fans. More to the point any 80mm fan running at 3000RPM is going to make some considerable noise.

If you are going for quality, I have to recommend Delta Triple Blade (DTB) fans or Sanyo Denki. I won't use anything else anymore...
