I have an Abit AV8, 3000+ winchester, and am using the stock HSF that comes with the retail box CPU. After some tweaking in the Abit EQ app (temp/voltag/rpm app) i notice that the max swing i can get with my CPU HSF fan rpm's is:
Idle - 43*C at 2100rpm's
100% load w/ 2.5Ghz OC and 1.5Vcore - 65*C at 3180rpm's
100% load w/ 2.4Ghz OC and 1.4Vcore - 59*C at 3180rpm's
So my question is with the stock HSF do those RPM's look correct, 2100 at idle and 3200 al 100% load. Just want to make sure my cooling is as efficiant as it could be. I know the 100% Load temps look high, but after reading alot of threads on differant forums I think this is common problem with the Abit mobo's, they seem to report temps about 10*C too high.
