Well after a long weekend of testing and tweaking I got my 3000+ @ 2702Mhz stable.

Got a 3DMark of 22892 with default benchmark settings.

HTT Mult 3x
FSB 300
vcore 1.625v
dim 2.9v
CPU Mult: 9x (Stock)
Timings 7-3-3
PCI Bus 110 @ 2656MHz

ASUS A8N SLI
1GB - Corsair PC4000 TwinX
BFG 6800GT PCI-E @ 423, 1100
Arctic Cooling CPU Cooler.
Arctic Cooling NV Silencer 5.

12+ hours testing:
GPU only at 64 deg C.

Let me know what you think about the result if this is decent above avg. or lucky etc etc.

Thanks!

nice exceot fir the timings. use a divider and try to get ultra low timings. CPU is only at 64 dg c right?

Thx. That is the GPU at 64 deg after the burn in. I don't think I can go any lower on the timings without crashing. Last crash was at 6-3-3.

Explain what you mean by the divider.

divider is a setting that allow the ram to run asyncronously from the cpu. at the current 1:1 your rams running at 400mhz. dropping it to 6:5 or something would help you lower timings.

I think that is set within the setting within DRAM settins in the Pheonix BIOS of "MAX DDR Frequency" That sets the ratios if I read it right.... the problem is as SOON as I choose any setting within that option it cancels all CPU settings and vise versa... as soon as I set any custom over clock then the MAX DDR Frequency jumps back to AUTO.

Drove me nuts.

Any help there would be appreicated.

Can anyone with an A8N SLI comment on my last statement? It seems that whenever I try to set a ram divider it clears all of my CPU settings and vise versa.

Thanks!
