3000+ memory score in sandra?

Has anyone here gotten over the 3000 mark in the memory bandwidth test? If so, what did you use (CPU, clock speed, memory, etc). I can't seem to get past 2900, and usually stay around the mid to high 2800s.

I don't NEED to get past 3000....but for some odd reason feel compelled to do so....🙂

oh yeah, I am using 512MB Corsair XMS 3200 @ 420DDR, cas 2-6-3-3. My highest score was 2900 even...

Can't wait for that PC3200 Samsung to come in 512MB...

check the bandwidth efficiency posted in sandra. you should be well over 90%.
if it is good, then try memory timings as mikki says. i imagine you've tried other combinations of
dividers versus 2:3...might just be the 645 chipset.

I get scores around 3100.
1.6A@2.44 (fsb 152.5, 3:4 divider)
512 mb corsair value select PC2700
DDR 406 cas 2.5, 5, 3, 3 (posted as 2.5, 5, 2, 2 in sandra)
i845g chipset (BG7)

good luck,
gururu

sandra memory is also testing the cache of the chip....Ie the higher the clock speed and such will bring that score up....

I hit 3280 with 1.6@2.66ghz with 442mhz ddr with cas 2.5,6,3,3....

I only get 2910's with 1.8@2.61 with 387mhz ddr cas 2,6,2,2...

I get 2995-3010 running at 400ddr
mobo is asus p4b266-c
mem is corsair xms 512mb pc2700 running at cas 2.5-3-3-7 (can't change timing setting above 290ddr 😱)
I have gotten 3200+ on sandra before running mem at 426ddr (160fsb w/ 3:4 mem ratio)

Pentium 4 1.6a @ 2400 (150FSB), x4 RDram multiplier (on Samsung Pc800 modules)

approx 3500 to 3600

1.6@2.4 Visiontek Xtasy Ti4200 128MB at 300/500 3D Mark 2001se score 11,467.Does that count😀..LOL.I need something to brag about since my CPU won't do over 2449 due to crap ram 🙁

ill have RDRAM at 156mhz scores Friday or Monday when the case comes in. IF the kingston will do it, i know the 2.26 and the P4T5333-c can do it.

I'll see what more I can do tomorrow, when my new PSU comes. I can't seem to go past fsb 145 right now...it might be my cutoff for this chip. I get mixed readings of the vcore...my gigabyte hardware health utility reads it at 1.49-1.5v, whereas a different gigabyte utility reads it at 1.7v.

Maybe the "normal voltage" setting in the bios automatically sets the vcore to the necessary amount, and doesn't keep vcore at stock 1.5? Does anyone else who uses gigabyte boards know?

Update:

Well, I've been kinda slow with my results since my mobo got fried.

Got a new one...best I could find locally, a Gigabyte 8IGX. Good board, with that tasty dual bios...

anyway, the 420 Watt PSU helps, since my cold cathode no longer flickers when the PC is under load 🙂 I'm prime 95'ing it as we speak, and so far so good, after about 2 hours. Currently at fsb 155, 1.65v, DDR 412.

At those settings, I did indeed go past 3000 in Sandra. The higher cpu fsb seems to have a substantial effect, since before I was at DDR 420 but only 140 fsb.

UPDATE:

Highest stable settings (Prime for 8 hours, Burn-in 99 times) are fsb 159 with DDR 423 @ 1.65v. Sandra Score of 3108. 1 more Mhz and the system crashes quicker than the stock market...

1.6@2.66ghz w/ 442mhz ddr (like thugs)....prime stable for 8 hours (I stopped the test) yet I have a restart issues where only on warm restarts it may fail to post and monitor shuts off.. I need a wire mod for my memory!!!😉..I think it is the epox mobo undervolting everything like it normally does...POS!...I upped vcore to no real fix....

cas 2.5,7,3,3 2.8v (with 2.6v being default on epox (spit!))

Sandra 2002 SP1
mem scores 3340/3334

pcmark2002
memory 6746
