3000+ heatsink and 92mm fan

can i put a 92mm fan on a retail heatsink?

what size fan comes with a 939 3000+, is it a 70 or a 80mm fan?

70mm.
You can if you can find a 70 to 90mm adapter.

i have 2 80->92's, maybe its time to bust out the ducttape

Yeah, i was goind to recommend duct tape. That is how I mounted an 80mm fan on my passive 9200 SE. I got some wicked overclocks... HL2 was alost playable .
