my mainboard is at 46.0c and my cpu is at 49.0 C and thats just me sitting here doing nothing really besides browsing the web. Is this a problem what the hell should i do i have the aero 7+ on the chip with artic silver 3 on it. Could it be taht i put to much artic silver on it or that the aero 7+ is garbage. Can somebody tell me waht to do? I have two coolermaster 80mm fans in my lanboy case.

What's the problem with 51C? 😕 Motherboards are calibrated absolutely all over the place, with "normal" readings ranging from the low 40C's to the high 60C's depending on the board and the BIOS revision being used, but I can't think of any boards where 51C is a sign of impending disaster...

aero isn't a oc heatsink/fan. it does ok, it doesn't do insanely great😛 slk800-900 would have been better.

oh well i had that hmonitor program and its in red when it gets to 50 so i was freaking out and my dfi lan party ultra II board came with that winbond program and it beeps and flips out because my board goes over 42 so what should be the max that a amd 3000+ barton should take before i get worried 90 C...?

for most people as long as its stable it doesn't matter😛 only overclockers fret since the chips really really increase temps when you boost to insane voltages etc😛 from this insanely detailed thread http://forum.oc-forums.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=187887

and to make sure their expensive coolers are earning their keep🙂

i've never had a cpu die from heat, i used to let em bake big time cuz i didn't care. by the time it croaks it won't be worth anything. you have to keep your harddrives cool though.
