Uh, it's less than 200 miles off the Greek coast. Optimal operating range for carrier based operations and Tomahawk missile strikes. Are you arguing for moving it within range of shore based anti-ship weaponry? Again, are you fucking retarded?

Hm, OK, perhaps instead we should position all currently deployed aircraft battle groups around the European continent instead. That will tell them that we're serious.

I just read how the situation is over there.
I can not understand it. Whole families (women with children)on the street.
People living under bridges it seems. Fathers/husbands killing themselves because they cannot provide food on the table. Greeks use to eat outside it seems. This no longer happens. People are unable to buy food.

This is not just out of the blue. How can it be that Greece has been able to continue this road of financial mismanagement for such a long time ? They even falsified the numbers. I find it sad to read about how much poverty there is in Greece. But at the same time there is so much wealth.

If we are to believe the economic theory spouted by Preoigressives/Dems/liberals, Greece SIMPLY can NOT be in this kind of trouble.

How come (illegal) immigrants in this country who absorb so much in gov benefits end up being such a (claimed) big economic boom by their spending of those benefits (thus stimulating business and the economy), but somehow this economic 'magic' doesn't work if you're a Greek retiree? What's the explanation?

So abandon operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya, as well as the groups tasked with monitoring North Korea and safeguarding Taiwan from a Chinese invasion? All to save some fucking gypsies no one gives two shits about in the first place?

What in the holy hell are you talking about?

Gee, I have no idea why a large force of immigrants that work hard for long hours at below market wages might have a different effect on an economy than a large force of elderly people who don't work at all.

Any more expert economic analysis? Better yet, why not some more expert analysis of progressivism? This might explain why you aren't a progressive yourself, you appear to have no understanding as to what it even means.

Stupidity. The US is making bad choices year after year, too and we all know it, it's just those who can exact change don't care enough/have nothing in it for them, same as Greece. People do stupid sh*t, but it's too bad it's an entire nation this time.

Actually the problem is that the Euro was a disaster and I called it back then. You just can't ha

The problem is; the greecean economy is weak as shit, but it's not reflected in their currency, the euro, whose strength is mainly derived from german export, which is turn is benefitting from the euro since it's undervalued for them.

A common currency without a common state is doomed, even if their avert it this time, the problem will rear it's head in the future.

PS. Ignored CanofWorms and his sockpuppet RapidGoose, he's on long endurance trolling spree.

Let's not forget about our own banksters who played a part in this, creating all kinds of bs derivatives to allow Greece to hide its debt.

Some of the debt has to be forgiven, there's no way around it.

What's happening in greece is coming here. Just look what happens when you dare ask public employees to contribute to their benefits. Watch what happens when we are forced to cut back entitlements. Prep people.

I'm surprised that no one has drawn the comparison between what Greece is now, to what America is on the path to.

Lazy people, sky high debt, insane demands for health/welfare and other stuff, while not generating an income that is increasing at a higher (or similar) rate as costs.

That's why I said it's coming here. We are on the same path, the path of socialism where it's great until you run out of other people's money. Prep people.
