I have 300 dollars to spend
I'm thinking processor. Any ideas on which P4 (2.53, 2.66, or 2.8GHz) will take me to 3GHz with
the biggest bang for the buck (I have an abit BG7)?

what would you buy? Should I wait and buy a hyperthreading supportive mobo?

thanks,

gururu

LOL!!! get that 2.4b as oldfart suggested and hit 3.2 to 3.4ghz and I doubt any 1700+tbred is getting to that level of performance...can that board do 180fsb??? agp/pci lock???

Then by all means save the cash and wait for the springdales that are rumored to be much cheaper then their lame siblings the granite bays....
