$300 deals for 7800 GT anytime?

If anyone remembers back to last year, there were several $300 deals on the 6800 GT, the biggest one was at Best Buy.

Given that these cards are supposed to be more common and possibly come out at MSRP, does anyone think one of these deals will pop up again?
 
Any thing is possible in the realm of hotdeals. There were actually mutiple $300 deals, because I got a 6800 GT from CompUSA for $303 as did many others.
 
I got my PNY 6800gt @ compusa by having them pricematch a Best Buy 25% off all PNY video card Sale (granted Best Buy does not carry the PNY 6800gt however Compusa still PMed it.)

We got them from Best Buy, remember? 😉
 
I got mine a PNY from CompUSA.. Via a 30% off all video cards sale. Even though the 6800's weren't in stock yet. I was able to get the manager to give me a rain check with the 30% off.

I know others got in on a Best Buy deal for BFG cards though yes.
