I'm thinking the answer is yes, but wanted to see what you guys think. I have a 300-disc CD carousel/changer. It's got about 250 CDs in it. :Q :D

I'll be moving in January...I have the original box/styrofoam the changer came in (doesn't everybody?) but should I remove all the CDs first, before I move it? What a PITA that would be....

That's one thing you move yourself, don't put it with the furniture and have the movers do it.

Yeah definately....but I would still pop out all the CDs.
I admit it would be a PITA...and I leave CDs in my CDroms when I cart my comptuer around, but that's only 1 (well 1 per drive) and the drives are meant for vertical mounting so the CDs don't really fall around much.

But the 300 changer probably doesn't hold them as well as my vertical mounting CD drives do....

I'd take them out. Sorry man

Bah.

Leave the CDs in, take the box up front in the cab (of whatever vehicle you're moving with).

Just be careful with it.
