!!!!!!!$300 budget on a monitor!!!!!!

Dont want an LCD due to the fact that they don't have the best clarity in the $300 range, not to mention I dont feel right dropping 600 on a monitor thats the same as an CRT but more expensive (not knocking lcd owners, just pressed for cash). Could someone point me in the direction of the best bang for my buck w/ a $300 budget?

Sorry, that product was not found.

that NEC 22" monitor looks sweet but it doesn't have the resolution i want (atleast 2048x1536). Sorry for not posting that fact earlier!

i know you said you dont want an lcd, but newegg has a nice 17 inch model by samsung for 257 or something like that. i bought one and it has a fantastic picture. if i were you thats what i would buy for that price range

If I had to choose something from that site, I would chose the Sony G520.

Another site to check out is Merkortech.

Personally, if you can wait, I would wait until I found the Mitsu Diamond Pro 2070SB at NM-Select under the 22" refurbs. No idea when they would have them BIS, but you could always inquire.
