30 Year Video Game Collection Up For Auction On Ebay

40 year old virgin?

What a colossal waste of time and money. That crap isn't worth anywhere near what he's asking for it.

Wow that is a LOT of games. I don't think I have enough years left in my life to even go through all that if I had them. Unless I won lot of money and could retire now. :awe:

The irony is that the majority of that collection can be played via emulators.

I'm not sure that's really ironic - emulators aren't a replacement for the real thing. For example, I've never really been able to get an Amiga emulator running to my satisfaction - there is always something not quite right.

I can't imagine there's anyone on earth with $550,000 AND the desire to own that many video games.
I cant either...... I only value what i consider GOOD GAMES.. (Games from the early 80s (Arcade,Atari,Coleco and some Commodore 64 stuff))

That is damn cool. I haven't heard of half those consoles.

I also don't envy the guy or have disdain for him (unlike some people). It's his money, he can do with what he wants with it.
