Girls and boys gift idea's in the $30 range ages range from 7 to 15.

without knowing what they are "in to" what are good 30 dollar gifts? just looking for idea's....
 
That's a pretty wide range. At the younger end, something like a Lego kit for a boy (I've purchased Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle and NBA Ultimate Arena in the last couple of years for my nephew), probably Barbie or even an arts-n-crafts sorta thing (make your own jewelry, etc) for a girl. For the older end of the range, unless they're extremely interested in something you know about, don't bother even trying to figure something out, just give cash or gift certs, kids are too fickle at that age to try to buy for without knowing exactly what they want.
 
Sharebuilder has 25 dollar gift kits that include 25 bucks for the account plus books on investing or something like that. PM me if you want a referral (I think the person you give a referral to gets a big bonus on an account if they sign up through a referral. Something like 25 to 40 bucks. The referrer doesn't get much, but you're welcome to whatever you get.) I think I'll be getting this for all my nieces/nephews next year for xmas or birthdays.
