1. Site shows $35, not $30. I'm sure there's some way to get it to $30, but the OP didn't mention it.

2. It's $2.95 shipping for your entire order - which is good.

3. Apparently it is not 100% down. From the thread: "When I read the label, it says contain 75% minimum of white Goose down, and also says 'Note: This product contains an amount of feathers not exceeding that allowable by law'. "

4. In the thread at fatwallet a lot of people said they got the wrong size and that the comforter was very thin. So it probably is best for a summer comforter or in warmer climates and you're taking a chance that you have to return it and get the correct size.

Quotes from the other thread:
"Its thinner than I thought"
"It's on the thin side. "
"I ordered a Queen size ...but was sent a King size."
"I did not get the size I ordered either."
"I received a defective comforter. "
"Ordered Queen, while confirm and shippment are Twin."
"I ordered the full/queen sizes, one was right the other was a King. "
"they are a bit thin"

For summer they are not bad... I mean come on for $30 you can't go too wrong.

Anyways... if you're thinking of buying check these out too:

Comforter, 2x Feather pillows - $49.99

Comforter, duvet cover, 2x Feather pillows, 2x pillow shams - $89.99

Not too bad on the prices, particularily on the second link (especially if you are getting a queen or king set). A queen/king duvet cover is going to run you $40 or $50 any way you look at it, so $90 isn't all that bad, its kinda like getting the pillows and shams for free.

Can't complain though...

yea, note that those pillows on overstock are 95% feather, 5% down. Your $230 pillow was almost certainly packed very tightly with 100% down. I too sleep on a $200+ down pillow, and you can't beat it.

Despite what may actually be the case, I just pretend that it's like shearing sheep: they like it during the summer.

Anyone know what kind of TC the comforter cover has? 'cause the down escapes very easily if it's too porous.

I got one of these a while back. There's a $5/off coupon (check the chubby cash contraption) floating about, just look for it. As for the quality, it's not bad. I live in Southern California, so I don't really need a super warm comforter. For the money, it's a good find. If you live in a colder climate, keep looking... I believe the TC on the comforter is 200 or 220. Can't remember exactly...

Down is the fuzzy stuff that's fluffy and thin(think the fuzz on baby chicks, or maybe, don't think about it if you then think about killing them for their down lol), which helps keep birds warm during cold times.

Feathers are the big ass things you see(like peacock tails have).

And krunk, hi again...muhahaha
