I am watching some recorded episodes of "30 Days"; a show created by the "Super Size" me guy. The premise being for thrity days they live the life on another type of person (socio economic status, lifestyle choice and so on).

I am getting a little pissed off by it, it seems exploitive and not accurate. How much can you really learn in three days, and in the end, he just goes back to the way he used to live. My problem I think, is he is going into this social experiment with non-congruent experiences to those who have lived the experience a lifetime.

Really it seems like any other activist, make themselves feel like they are doing good, when really they are only serving their own self-interests.

I don't see how pointing out the problems of minimum wage is serving his own self-interests...

Hmmm, money for the show, money for him...in the end would he do it for free is all I wonder.
