Yeah so did the guy that bought the two 30" Apple screens post a pic of it in the end? If he did anyone got pics or can he post them again. Just want to check out the sweet setup 😀

The 30" Cinema HD display isn't shipping due to the fact that the nVidia GeForce 6800 Ultra DDL isn't available yet.

I don't know if he's lying, but I don't see why he wouldn't buy with the Apple edu discount, nor why he didn't order the required 6800U DDL card either.

I don't care if he bought them or if they're even available...the Apple store at Somerset have them on display and OMG...they should cover them in plastic, otherwise I might get them a little...sticky 😉 😀 :Q

Just wanted to see if he got them 😀 but if it is a no show...

DAM why wasn't this around when I got my 23" lcd?! Saved ENOUGH money for the dam screen! Then this comes along?! Oh well had my screen now for about 18 months so can't complain.

Apple Computer this week began notifying customers that it will be unable to ship its new 30-inch high-definition display until late October.

In an email to some of the display's earliest adopters, the company said that, "due to an unexpected supply delay," it can no longer meet its previously quoted ship dates. Customers are now being told by Apple to expect their orders to ship on or before October 25th.

Well in about 6 months time I'll pick a Plasma screen for my father. Been waiting for about 2 or so years for a one to get in the price range we want. Jan/ Feb we'll pick up one up hopefully. But then we have a 32" Sony widescreen tv and what to do with that?! Weighs about 75kg and takes quite a lot of room up. Got to put that somewhere...
