I'd go for a nice Audi A4 Quattro or a silver Toyota Celica GTS ;)

Yuck... The Celica is the ugliest Sport Coupe in production today, hands down... :disgust:;)

BTW, for that cash I would probably go with a Mustang Cobra, or a 97-98 M3...

I'd get what I've got now. A VW Passat GLX.

To this day I'm not sorry I picked it over the 3 series.

Are we talking brand new here NFS? Or can we buy used? :)

New: Firebird Trans-Am, loaded of course
Used: C5 Vette, Supra TT, RX7 TT, 300ZX TT (with plenty of cash to spare to hook the engine up :))

The Celica is a beautiful thang ;) And a fully loaded Celica GTS is pushing $26k - $27k. I like my vehicles fully loaded:) The ugliest coupe by far is the Hyundai Tiburon with its frog eyed look.

The Hyundai Tiburon is a sports coupe?

Wouldn't you need some power to back that up? :D

The Hyundai Tiburon would be considered as sporty coupe/hatch (what else are you gonna call it;)). It's in the same category as the Integra and Celica. But the Tiburon is way down on HP compared to those two hot shots and is also thousands cheaper than the Integra GTS-R and the Celica GTS. The low-end models of both cars would compare favorably to the Tiburon in HP figures, but would still be priced higher.

Also, a Mazda Miata only has 142HP, but it is still a sports car which slaloms better than a Corvette.

No decent sport utes for that price......oh wait, I can buy cars cheaper than average people. In that case, an 02 Explorer, or if I went with a car, a Trans Am.

Get the 1990's Model Celica GTS. Do not get the 2000/1 model. 1990's looks awsome packing it with ~180HP (Is it right? cause the late 1980s are 180). If possible, try and get the 1994 GTS, i think it have Four Wheel Drive. Oh yea, i have a Celica GT.

I like the current Celica. I don't like the jellybean look of the late 80's - early 90's models or the frog-eyed look of the mid 90's - late 90's models.

I thought 30k was a hard figure, not to be exceeded. Plus, I can buy a macked-out Eddie Bauer Explorer for less than 30k, that's why I chose it.

Only if that A$ (oops, I mean A4) has the 2.7 Six in it. The 1.8T is very weak on the low end. It sucks.

I'd buy one of the last jeep cherokees to roll off the assembly line, lock it, lift it, and put some better tires on it :D
