well. im getting signal from my router which is .11B (added by mac address so only my desktop is allowed to surf).

by the way i want to share my internet connection to the laptop wireless.
i bought 1 more wi-lan card so that i could share my connection.

i think i was able to share my connection with extra lancard but this time i think ineed like software or sumthin to share my connection.

heres what i want to do.
Desktop: WIFI1- CONNECTED TO ROUTER, WIFI2- TO BROADCAST ROUTER's connection
Laptop: WIFI3 - SHOULD CONNECT TO WIFI2(Desktop)

any idea how i can set this up? ty

windows internet connection sharing?

my question is why don't you want the laptop to go through the router as well?

some wifi cards can't talk to each other, you need an access point (wireless switch/router) to do that. WICS won't work this way.

i dont have permission for the router.

Help for you will probably stop after saying this. Do it the honest way.

Configure the second Wireless Card (in the desktop) and the Laptop Wireless to work together in Ad-Hoc Mode.

Once you have a countable connection between the two...

If you have WinXP Pro on the Desktop use WinXP Bridging capacity.

Otherwise, use ICS.

The Bridging is a much better - Stable solution.
