3 weeks and 2 days... Im starting to get nervous

Im getting married on March 8, 2003.. Up until recently when people asked me if i was excited/nervous/anxious I always responded just anxious for it to be over with. But NOW, I'm like OMFG I'm getting married VERY soon. It's not cold feet. It's just im a shy quiet person and having to stand up infront of 100 people and profess my love to someone is a bit on the awkward side for me so maybe its just a little bit of stage fright?

First off... Congrats.
I think you may be nervous, but i think once you are at the "altar" you will only see your soon-to-be hubby. Nothing else will matter!

When I got married, that was my biggest problem, the idea of everyone watching me.. It's not that long, and afterwards you can drink and try to forget all of the extra crap they want you to do...

That's my birthday get your own special day! Congrats on the wedding...hope you have more fun than I will that day.😉

Congratulations. It's meant to be the happiest day of your life (or at least one of them) so don't worry about it. Say your lines and nobody will know how nervous you were (well, except us).

Congrats! I get my life sentence 10 days after you 🙂

Cept there's only gonna be 5 of us there - us two, the dude marrying us, and two of our friends. Oh, and we'll be barefoot on the beach for ours too.

The dancing at the reception was MUCH worse than the ceremony itself.

I DONT even want to think about having to dance with all eyes staring..... one hurdle at a time please 🙁

Congrats to you too.. We only started with close family and friends.. which was roughly under 60 people. SOMEHOW we now have almost 100!

Oi!!! Thats not your b-day, it's mine. We're going to have to settle this the old fashioned way, kegs at dawn.... 😉

I forgot that the 8th is a saturday this year. Gonna have to start planing a party... 🙂

BTW Congrats TwinkleToes, don't worry about the people, once the ceremony gets started and you see your husband it will all go smoothly.

Yep, I was nervous on my wedding day, but it was worth it. Actually, it was sort of funny, because at the reception, my throat began to hurt, and I started feeling pretty bad. I ended up with a nasty cold on my honeymoon! Ah, the memories 🙂

Thats exactly my luck! But we are leaving a week after the wedding for the honeymoon..... CRUISEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Wow, congratulations and best of luck to you! 😀 You're going to do fine, and I hope you and your future husband have a great honeymoon and an even better future life together.

I'll be here in good old Kansas City...if you are over 21 you are welcome to join. There's no telling what will happen though that night...

My hardest part believe it or not was the vows. Susan did a fantastic job writing two pages of vows, I didn't have to memorize any of it but it was knowing what parts I say, when I turn to the right, when I put the ring on her finger, stuff like that.

I was so freakin' nervous and kept reciting them to myself like 48 hours before the ceremony.

The best part is waking up the next morning in your honeymoon suite and realizing that you are the luckiest $#@! person in the world, nothing can replace that feeling, nothing.

That just put the biggest smile on my face just thinking about it... 🙂

Glad to hear it. It's moments like that which are the most memorable and cherished.

I'm turning 26 up here in Omaha. Thanks for the offer though. I'm already starting to plan the day's activities up here. Seems like a long time since I had a whole day to celebrate.

Just remember to try and relax some in the days building up to the wedding. I remember my wife and I taking an evening just to go someplace quiet and eat a relaxed dinner. With all the planing and family arriving in town, the last week can be crazy!
