They say connecting both cards' connectors using a 3X SLI bridge increases performance while others say not.
Funny thing is testing a 3Way SLI bridge with an ohmmeter reveals that using a 3X SLI bridge on two cards connects the right connector only while leaving the left OPEN!
So in other words using a single flexible style SLI bridge is electrically the same as using a 3X SLI bridge on two cards.
In a 3 Way SLI system the middle card is connected to the bottom card via the left side.
Monster Cables should get into the biz of making these things!
