You'll need a better power supply than 250W for the Athlon, and it would probably be a good idea for the PIII and P4 systems as well. For the P4 system, due to the dual-channel nature of RDRAM, RIMMs need to be installed in pairs, so you need either 2x256MB or 2x512MB, or 4x128 or 4x256.

As for which would be best, the P4 seems to win most of the benchmarks in that area, so it's probably your best bet.

First thing you should do is to get rid of the heatsinks and power supplies no matter which system you choose. Personally, I'd pick the Tulatin.

I agree with DarkMajiq, for ur use the P4 will be better than the other ones.
But change the PS to at least 300W and if you could afford a better HSF, get other HSF.

Good luck!

In your Athlon system the motherboard you have
chosen does not support DDR memory or 266 fsb.

HSF = HeatSink + Fan. I dont know what HSF ppl been using on P4´s, but I know Swiftech MC462 has a model for P4, this a very dang nice HSF.
And Jayczar is right, I didnt notice that in the first time.
Asus P4T is a very good mobo. If you want another options are the Abit, very good, but more expensive though.

Good luck!

Dump those ThermalTake HSFs. They really suck. Also pick a better PS and make sure it is complient with all the P4 specs. And the KT133 chipset only support 100Mhz SDR RAM. You will need something like the Via KT266, Via KT266a, AMD 760, SiS 735, or ALi Magik for DDR RAM support.

For system 1, you've forgotten the fact that the Gigabyte GA-6VXD7 does not support the Tualatin PIII processor, it's for the older Coppermine PIII. The PIII 1.13GHz is Tualatin. Also, why a dual processor mainboard if your only going to use one processor?
Also, that motherboard does not support DDR SDRAM.

For system 2, Gigabyte GA-7ZX-1 (KT133 chipset) does not support the 266MHz FSB Athlon. It also does not support DDR SDRAM.

For system 3, the RIMM's need to be paired with RIMM's of the same size.

Nikao cases look nice but are designed very pporly. Get a better case.
Creative Labs CDROM's arent typically thought of as being very reliable.
May wish to look into better HSF cooling solutions.

250W PSU is unlikely to be enough for system 1 or system 3.

You've got a lot of dunious choices listed in there, and numerous parts that are entirely incompatible.
I suggest you start re-designing the system and get the help of someone that's a little more experienced with current hardware.
