-To clear the CMOS, do I set the jumpers to 2-3 (clear CMOS) and turn the power on?

Then wait for...(waht will happen?) and set it back to 1-2 (normal) and go about my business?

-Also, with the fan header, this board does not require that a fan be plugged into the CPU header, correct?

-And lastly: will a 80mm fan with these specs: 12V, .18A, 2.16W, 2900RPM plug into that fan header safely?

no just set the jumper to make a connection with pins 2 and 3 then put it back...dont leave it on the clear setting.

as far as i know you should plug the cpu fan into the cpu fan header...why in the hell wouldnt you

and if its a 3 pin fan it will be fine

I'm just afraid that the fan might require too much power and damage my board or something...

like how people recommend that you plug the delta 60mm fan into the PS, and not the mobo.

The fan itself is 3pin, so I suppose it ought to work...dunno
