3-pin socket on my mobo for chassis fan will not work!!

I have an EPoX 8k7a mobo and i have a case mod with 3 intake and 3 exhaust fans. The problem i'm having is that on the lower 3 pin chassis connector on the lower part of the mobo won't work. Anyone know what could be wrong? Do i need a new mobo? Is there any way i can fix this?

double check that the fan works on one of the other fan headers, if it does then it's in the board. I just sent back a 694DPro-@ir board because all of the fan headers died, dunno why but it happened.

How many fans are you trying to run off this header? If it's toast then RMA it back.
