This is the 2176-c55 Aptiva LBX type and I have changed the motherboard and I have made all the baseboard connections but one 3 pin connector known as P9 with brown, Black, White wire it goes to j24 on a A-2 IBM motherboard and is called power supply. I do know that the white wire will run the internal power supply fan. This I think is the soft on/off. From the Intel manual how do I connect to the motherboard starting with pin # 1 PS_ON, the function is remote on/off. #2 N/C, function is No connect and #3 PS_COM, function is Supply presence. This is the soft off for the Intel motherboard. What I am doing is replacing the IBM motherboard with a Intel Ruby motherboard. Thanks in advance.
