I have an EPoX 8k7a mobo and i have a case mod with 3 intake and 3 exhaust fans. The problem i'm having is that on the lower 3 pin chassis connector on the lower part of the mobo won't work. Anyone know what could be wrong? Do i need a new mobo? Is there any way i can fix this?

What kind of fan is it? If it's a big high output monster, like a 90mm-120mm fan, the headers on the motherboard cannot take much current draw, and will burn out. The way to make sure the fan even works connect it to some power, using a 3 pin to 4 pin adapter. I assume you have tried another fan on the same header, as well? If the fan is good, you might just try and pick up an adapter and run it from the PSU, rather than go thru the hassle to RMA the board. From experience, if the fan was enough to take out a header, it will just do it again on a new board.
