3-pin case fans

I've looked in my case and don't see any "3-pin" connectors coming out of the PSU. Do I need an adapter that connects to the 4-pin HD power adapters?

BTW, 4-pin case fans use the same power adapter as HD's, etc. - correct?

3-pin connectors are on your motherboard. There's usually 3 - one near the CPU, one at the front edge, and one at the rear amongst the PCI slots.
