We need more people posting deals with no links so that they can get traffic to their deal sites. I don't like having direct links in the Hot Deals Forums. I like to click around more.

Your not allowed to post coupon codes or affiliate links and the deal doesnt work without the codes.

Sorry.

To their credit I believe rasputinj and whatsyourdeal have been posting generic links to Dell.

Of course that does no good if you don't have the applicable coupon codes 😛

For the click-challenged-lazy-arses:

That's not that big of a deal to me. I can understand that - like RossMAN said, you do need to go to those sites to get coupon codes.

What I like is when one of those regulars posts a deal and 3-4 other people with Hot Deals sites of their own reply to the OP. So, you have a thread with 4 posts, each of them trying to drive traffic to a different deals site. And no responses/interest from ATers mostly because those deals are usually a biweekly alternating repeats from Dell.

On the balance, however, there is a need for such posts because there are many people not deeply familiar with Dell pricing strategies. There is NO need though for a multiple Hot Deal sites contest fought over a single Dell deal.
