3 LCD goodness *pics added!*

Lifer
Finally got a new video card in the mail to make use of my 3rd LCD.
Got a 19" in the middle and 2 19" widescreens on either side. I didn't make the jump to LCD until I could afford 3 because I'm OCD and couldn't handle the line in the middle.

Just a question, is there a good way to calibrate the LCDs so they will all be the same color? I'm just doing coding, not graphics work, so it's not too important, but dialog boxes looking the same accross the board would be nice.

No kidding: terminal windows, documentation windows, text editor windows, web browser output windows, iCal, iChat.

that's a, um... interesting setup
?
Really?
How so? The non widescreen in the center?

I think that its important to have 1 non widescreen for testing the Front end. Apps look different on 4:3 rather then 16:9 or 16:10.

1:1 mapping ftw

for coding i'd stand one of those widescreens on it's side and use it for the actual code, as you can get more lines on the screen at once.

I program ruby, there's hardly any code at all. 😀
Plus, I can't stand just one widescreen up as it would irritate my OCD to no end.

It's not awkward at all. As odd as this sounds, it's almost more nautural, because the screens sorta flow around me.

1920x1200 x 2 but the monitors are not quite the same size. 24" and 23", the bezel on the 23" is thicker though.

I was looking in to a 30" but that would require a graphics update and that would also mean a mobo, cpu etc upgrade also 😛. Maybe in a year or two. Or duel 30" 😛

LCD prices have dropped a ridiculous amount inthe past 5yrs.
