House is the BEST SHOW EVER.

Finally, a protagonist I can identify with :

He's creepy, grouchy, and nearly impossible to get along with.
 
I saw the pilot. I think the show can't fare well in a market already saturated with medical shows.

And if they are trying to take on House, they need to quit now. For all his crazy antics, Greg House has a certain je ne sais quoi that the bald neurosurgeon can never hope to match. Hell, even Dr. Cox is a 100 times better.

Scrubs starts November 30, fyi.
 
yeah, i watched the premiere. hmm, not sure what to think of it. i'll wait 'til the 2nd or 3rd episode to decide. hands down, house is a great show.
 
Well, I caught House last night (killer episode by the way), and then stumbled upon the "3 lbs" show by accident afterwards. first time I saw it, and the first thing I thought is "He's trying to act like House, and it just ain't workin'.".

I'm not saying it's a bad show, I've only seen one episode. But aren't they kinda shooting themselves in the foot by limiting the show to medical conditions of the brain? I know there are many, but damn that would get old after awhile.

So far, the only reason I really stayed tuned to 3 lbs last night was....

I will be tuning into the show religiously for a while. It's not that I think the show is great - it is merely entertaining. The reason is that I know one of the writers and he managed to write in a Korean Anesthesiologist named Dr. Kim based on a mutual friend.

I am looking forward to having some good material to rag on him with.

So far: Dr. Kim's big line in episode 2

upon administering anesthesia to a brain surgery patient, he says, "So, which leg are we taking off today?"

The surgeon replies, "That joke never gets old, Dr. Kim"

:laugh: so corny...

You're not missing much, people on here might disagree with that but I think it's highly overrated. Other than House the characters are a joke, and his pompousness was been getting on my nerves before I stopped watching it.

I can't wait for Scrubs season 5 to come out on DVD. I own seasons 1-4 already and I've been watching the re-runs on Comedy Central, season 5 started last Friday I believe.
 
Wow, that last episode "Heart-Stopping" was awesome. I'm really into this show. Unfortunately, I think I may be the only one in the country that is. Guess that's because I have never seen an episode of House.

i actually thought the recent episode was the best thus far....guess it wasn't enough from getting axed.
