Product Description: The ultimate new do it all gadget. Yes, It looks like a pen...and it is, but it does much more than write your sloppy notes. You will have access to a high powered laser pointer that will shoot a beam 500 yards.

Simply point the back of the pen to where you want to project the laser dot.

This pen is also equipped with a super bright L.E.D. Flashlight as well. So bright the light can be seen up tp a 1 mile distance. Its slim design makes it especially usefull for lighting up small and difficult to reach areas.

Constructed of metal these pens write smooth and are built to last. Batteries are included and replaceable. Uses standard cell batteries found at any radio shack or drug store.

there are some really tempting deals on that page. Its kind of like the dollar store, "Everything is so cheap!!!!"

$30 later you wonder what you really need with 10 cans of toillete bowl cleaner, 2 back scratchers, a bag of scented candles and the thing you think is probably a chip clip.

The Pen is very powerful. It gave a shock to my sister and she dropped it on carpet and broke it. It is very cheaply made but it was good for a few laughs.

Got mine today. I am happy with the quality (but I didn't expect much). It comes with an extra set of batteries. Mine were not corroded. The whole thing looked pretty good, and the blue light was enough to see around a dark closet.

Yes, same here, I have two. I think it was worth it, though. You remove the corrosion on the batteries and it's OK. It hasn't happened yet but someday I'll have occasion to use the laser pointer. :D

Ah, they are little watch-type batteries. I think there are 3 of them. Probably SR44 like the 5 head laser pointer tool.

I just got mine today and am very satisfied for the money! It ain't a Waterman, Parker, Shaeffer, Aurora, Pelikan, MontBlanc, etc., but it will do. LED provides enough light to get around in the dark. Shines a broad beam about 20-30 feet ahead of you. Great for getting to the car or inside the house with no outside lights on. Laser is bright and shines hundreds of feet. I'm going to order some for gifts...

This isn't the full version of Nero Ultra. Some of the features aren't there.

I'm wondering how many minutes of use you can get out of the laser on a set of batteries. Anyone venture an estimate?

Edit: Well, it says on the flashlight, Max output < 5 mW. The batteries, I guess, are SR44's, and the one I'm looking at is rated at 120 mah. There's 3 of them, so I figure a maximum of 360/5 = 72 hours. That would assume that the drain would be equal to the output, which is doubtful. Is my math right?

Edit2: Opening it up I see that they have LR44's in there. You can buy SR44's, I guess, to replace the LR44's. The SR44's are silver oxide, the LR44's are alkaline. The one's I'm looking at are rated at 110 mah.. So maybe if you are lucky you have 60 hours on the laser. Seems like a lot. With attrition by time, maybe 40 hours, assuming you don't use the flashlight, of course.

I bought a Belkin Laser pointer/pen/stylus and after using the laser to play with the cats every day for about 5 minutes, I got about a month out of it. It uses 4 LR43 batteries, but I can't seem to find replacements. The I found batteries that were the right diameter, but the length was different... Puzzling... (So, short answer, is the batteries will go fast if you use it a lot...) :)

Thanks for the post OP. I bought a laser, and precision screwdriver set. I can always use more of those!

Not bad. That is one of thoes sites were you go down the list thinking "I'll take one of thoes, one of thoes, a few of these, another one of thoes, etc" and soon you racked up 50$ worth of stuff.

Anyway, thanks for the link. I'm seriously considering a laser pen, laser pointer and screwdriver kit.
