3 IDE ports

I'm looking at MBs that have 3 IDE ports. How in the heck do you set up RAID 0 with 3 IDE ports? I've seen many MBs with this configuration, but have never read how to set up RAID 0. Please help.

you put 2 hard drives on the RAID channel (the single IDE) on one ribbon for raid-0.

Are both drives set as master? How does the performance compare to 2 individual RAID ports?

For Raid 0 or 1 you need to put each hard drive on it's own ide port so they have to be master.
