Hang in there. You'll probably get a wind and start cruising on adrenaline. Then crash big time.

Enjoy!

I've got a two year old and a 4 week old.

Where do I sign up for this luxury of sleep you speak of?

Hopefully OT will keep me going. I hate it when my brain won't shut down at night. It's like a broken record going over the same thoughts again and again.
drive carefully and down a 7hr energy drink
Thanks. 2 miles from the house. Got up at 6:00 and will be here til 5:30pm. Might need 2X7hr. Read somewhere that aspirin could help prevent the caffeine crash.
Step 1:
To beat a caffeine crash you must hydrate yourself and start flushing the caffeine out of your system. So the first step is to, you guessed it, drink water, approximately equal to the amount of caffeine that you drank.

Step 2:
Second, eat walnuts, peanut butter, or other high protein foods.

Step 3:
Third, take some pain killers and a nap.
Bolded looks like a "duh" to me.

LOL. My kid had colic. Almost had the wife convinced to try and put him back where he came from.

I remember those years (shudder). I used to have the most amazing sex fantasies. Not about the act itself, but I would think longingly, lovingly, achingly about the falling asleep afterwards part.

Congrats, enjoy!

close the door and nap in your office FTW!
Store front and I'm the only one here.:( Any other day, my part timer would be here. Can't hit the wife up for an hour or 2. She's counseling from 8:00am to 9:00pm with 3 hours off in between.

O.K. I'm done whining.

If you aren't already using it, Mylicon is your friend! I cannot overstate how well it worked on all three of my children when they were infants.

He's 10 now and has been nothing but a joy since that re-insertion effort. :sneaky:

IIRC, we tried that.

That did nothing on my kids. Gripe water may have helped somewhat. Other than that, nothing did. They screamed the first 4 months of their lives.
