3 hi-jacked plane was (is) circularing on top of Vancouver, BC????

last i heard they were just unidentified... US asked canada if we could send planes over there to help identify them but i havent heard anything since... any updates?

There was a plane (1) that was having communications problems and a fuel problem; they thought it was hijacked, but it turned out not to be. USAF forced it to land in Whiterock, BC, but that's all I've heard - and I don't even know if this is the same plane(s) you're asking about.

Clear sky today over here in Burnaby (just east of downtownVancouver). I looked outside towards the west but didn't see any planes flying.

There aren't any significantly tall buildings today either. Harbour Centre, perhaps? Oh crap.. I know somebody who works there. 🙁

I hope this is a rumour.

CNN reported briefly hours ago 3 unidentified planes in Canada air space headed south. They pulled the report off their website withing 15 mins of that with no further info. Another poster said it was relief planes headed toward us with Military escort, but dunno, havent heard anything since then.

From CNN.com:

<< Reports of three suspicious aircraft over Canada were checked out by Canadian authorities and found to be untrue, according to U.S. officials. Concern about the matter was prompted by a Canadian pilot who reported -- erroneously as it turned out -- that he was being followed by three other aircraft. >>
