3 HDDs & 1 CD-RW?

Right now I have 2 HDDs on primary IDE and Cd-rw & Cd-rom on secondary IDE. I am wondering if I could replace the Cd-rom with 3rd HDD as slave to Cd-rw. I need spce with those mp3's. Could this setup hinder any performance or function?

In this day and age, the myth of the HD/CD on one channel performance decrease doesn't exist. You can safely use a CD drive along with a HDD on the same channel without performance loss. Even if there was, it would be fairly small.
