3 Fans + DVD on 1 Power Connector?

Ok I don't know the terminology here so I'll just describe it. I have 3 case fans and 1 DVD drive sharing a um... power connector thingy. You know how on a PSU it has wires that have like 2 4 pin connectors on 1 of the lines? Well I used 1 of those for my DVD and 1 of those for my 3 fans (i dont even know if i'm even supposed to connect it like that). Assuming I'm not an idiot and what i just did was totally wrong and wont even work, would this be ok power wise, or would it be straining?

Also, I have my Hard drive sharing power with my floppy drive. I believe my video card is alone (i think) because someone told me it should have deciated power. Is this an okay setup?

You'll be fine.

Sustained max peak on dvd drive is 25 watts and load 3 case fans at 2 watts each, thats nothing.

Besides, the dvd drive does not spin all the time, only when you actually are reading a disc.

You have your setup just right: dedicated lines to gfx card and to hard drives as these are the ones that need sustained power since they are "in use" when you're computer is on.
