3-fan bay cooler wont reach case rails!

I use an Enight 7250 computer case at home. Last month I noticed my HD's were overheating so I placed them in two 5 1/2 inch bays and installed 3-fan bay coolers to cool them down. The only problem is the face of my case is removable and you have to in order to remove the side panel. If I screw in the 3-fan bay coolers onto the drive rails which the HD's are attached too, they end up too short and don't sit flat with the other drives. Is there an alternative to these 3-fan bay coolers or will I have to get a different design/case ? I'm kinda short on money.

Could you explain another way or show a diagram? I've yet to see anything that couldn't be modded and you may just have to reverse the design so the fans are behind the drives.
