My boss came into my office the other day and noticed that I had 2 monitors hooked up (one VGA, one DVI). He raved about how he'd love to have a three monitor setup for his new home PC, since he and his kids are really getting into the latest vesion of Flight Sim.

So anyway, he went on to tell me that he just dropped ~$2..maybe it was $3k on his new PC system from Dell. This tells me he's not afraid to spend a little money on this project. Any thoughts on what would be the best way to get him hooked up for a three monitor system?

To show how far out of the loop I am on home PC building lately...how do you go about that?
Are there multiple PCI-e slots capable of handling such a card. How friggen powerful of a PSU would he need? Seriously, he probably wouldn't blink at the cost if he new how awesome it would be.

EDIT: whoa, just looked up the price on a 8800GTX...$649..OK, maybe he's not ready for that!!

Go into one of the big flightsim forums (i like hovercontrol. Small, but knowlegable!) and ask.

Maybe two 7900GS? i know there's alot of multi-monitor support within flightsim itself.
