3 DIMMs @ DDR400 on MSI Neo

Does having all 3 DIMM slots used decrease the RAM frequency? Say I have 3 identical 512MB PC3200 RAM on each, will they run at DDR400? I read another board would drop to DDR333 if using all 3 slots.

3 DIMMs at DDR400 is just not possible, stably. DDR400 is too fragile in its electrical properties to allow that. Remember that the specified limit is ONE (!) DIMM; being able to run two is already a plus. Three? No way. Unless you're using a mainboard with two RAM channels; in that case you'll have the two-DIMM limit twice.
