3 cases i am interested in

so far these are the 3 cases i am interested in for my build but i can't decide, 1 among the 3 since they all have something that i like ofcourse, your opinions will be appreciated on these cases

Tsunami

X-Superalien

i am leading towards the superalien becasue it has what the 2 above have and its price is cheapest amongst the others, but i am not familiar with this case

when i built my rig a couple of weeks ago, i went with the praetorian. i :heart: it.

The Praetorian is the best looking one, in my opinion.

The first one is a TT wannabe. I actually have a Xaxer II that I love. Heaviest case I've ever lifted. The Tsunami is sexier and better built.

For that amount of $$ I'd recommend an antec sonata.

My second recommendation would be an antec slk something or other and finally, I'd recomend the TT case.

Antec Sonata is quiet....those other cases will be loud, you do realize that?

LOL thanks for the opinions, Gravity the first is a CM Praetorian how is it a TT wannabe?i don't really like the look of the sonata and these cases can shouldn't be too loud, i already have a PS, so i don't want a case w/PS like the antecs you mentioned

I am getting my pratorian case along with my computer parts this afternoon. It looks awesome, has exceptional cooling (2 intake fans in he front for hard drives, one exhaust fan on the top, another exhuast fan in the back, all 80 mm, and if that sounds to loud just buy some Panaflos to quiet it down.) it has nice I/O ports in the front, made out of aluminum (so it's light and I think better thermal dissaption sicnce it'll act like a giant heatsink), and it looks simple and sleek. Two other case's I'l recommend is The Cooler Master Wave Master and the KIngwin Kt 424.

On looks alone, the Praetorian is my favorite out of those. I have no idea of the quality of those cases though, and would recommend you stay away from budget / low quality cases, if any of those are such. Based on personal experience.

Just to let you know of some of the negatives of the tsunami:
1) 120mm fans are LOUD (these are TT fans and hence are nowhere near the 21dB they advertise)
2) no case speaker, if this is important to you
3) side panel was considered flimsy by some reviewers
4) door will not close with fan controllers
5) stamped fan grills
6) no filter over side window fan, just a metal mesh

momma mia!! that is nice, where did you get those badges? i need a A64 one, thats a nice case but it would probably be found for as low as 140$ or something, which is too high, so i will stick BTW these 3 cases, looks like i am leaning towards the prateorian again

If you're considering the SuperAlien, why not go with a more conventional looking Chieftec or Antec PerformancePlus? I don't know about you but the SuperAlien looks kinda bling bling, and judging from the rest of your case choices that's probably not something you like?

i am looking for a good case at a good price, w/good features cooling, noise its ok as long its not so loud

i just noticed about the kt-424 its almost the same as the prateorian except the the top fan? i may condiser this one

Another vote for the Praetorian; I have one and it suites me well. Besides being functional enough for my needs, it looks slick but conservative at the same time...IOW not as flashy like the SuperAlien, which is fine by me.

I like the CoolerMaster.. still debating on which case I want also.. maybe a black Wavemaster, or a black Praetorian... still not sure.

I say go for the Tsunami. It's not that loud. I used to have a steel Antec Solution series case with some "quiet" sunon's in it, same PS, that was much more louder.

Of the 3 you listed I'd go for the Tsunami, but I would really suggest going w/ SLK3700 BQE or SLK3700 AMB if you don't want the power supply just sell it. w/ the 2 cases I listed you have some of the best airflow in a tower case period and the BQE is very quiet and so is the AMB if you replace the fans w/ something that makes less noise, neither are that loud to start. and they are both cheaper than anything you listed + they both use dual 120mm fans for cooling, this is the way to go if you want good cooling and silence. Hope this helps and just my 2 cents...

I was looking at the Praetorian, but what sold me was that this case was tested by AT at only 4 decibles louder than Lian Li's PC-6070, which is marketed as a quiet case:

It's only drawback I can see is that it doesn't have front headphone/mic jacks, or you can read the reviews on kingwin's site - if you can wait, I can let you know how the build goes with the case

I get my case stickers from Shadowmajik. Admittedly, too many stickers tend to make the case look rather tacky. Really breaks the cleans lines of this case, but hey, I like being reminded of what I have in there

The Superalien is pretty boring and looks kinda ugly. I would go with the Praetorian cuz I love my CoolerMaster WaveMaster case, but the Tsunami looks pretty good to me. Since the Praetorian is cheaper than the Tsunami, go w/ that one, but man, that Superalien is just an Antec w/ some paint.
