From Newegg (Designer Scroll Optical Mouse Model H3003 Retail). Looks like its a pretty good deal for this price. $6.00 shipping (!) though. I ordered three and the shipping came to a little under $12.

nice, too bad it looks like its PS2 only. i guess u can find a USB converter. $6 for shipping is a lil high for me though, id grab a 9.99 optical logitech scroll mouse from a local store. 😀

Sorry, I should have mentioned that they were PS2. I'm building a couple of low priced computers for friends and these will be just right for them.

Just curious, what is wrong with PS2 mice? I am always running out of USB ports, and almost all Windows computers have PS2 ports.

I didn't mean to say there was anything wrong with PS2. I can't tell the difference, actually. I just meant to say that I should have specified in the message title.

From what I understand: I believe USB port refreshes the mouse signal faster and more frequently. It goes well with an optical mouse which also refreshes faster than a ball mouse.

Actually if you get
PS2 rate a PS2 mouse will refresh at 200hrz, which I believe is twice as fast as USB
