Wow, that sure has risen since I left for school 7 weeks ago. In Flint MI, as of last week, we were around $1.55. Of course, in this city you should consider yourself lucky if you car doesn't get stolen or a brick through the windshield just for the heck of it. Kinda puts gas prices into perspective.

Average Car has a 15gal tank and you fill that up once a week at 54.90 thats insane ur over paying i think you should rebel wait til the cost gets lower start taking a bus or soemthing

Damn that sucks. Just calculated that if i fill up my truck with 22 gallons (25 gal tank) it would cost me $87.12

That would put a stop to any un-necessary driving pretty damn fast.

looks like gas won't be back to normal till middle of next week they haven' even got the pipeline fixed yet. hopefully they will be able to start pumping from california now that the EPA is letting us sell normal gas (here in pheonix we have a certain additive inthe gas no one else has). thank goodness I have a hookup I know a manager of a gas station and he gives me heads up when they get gas so I can always be first in line

No law against it here in AZ. The attorney general has already said there really is nothing he can do. They are going to introduce legislation in january, that will hopefully pass. But we are basically screwed as it is right now.
