"Kinc scored 50,614 3Dmarks in eternal 3D Mark2001SE, 40,061 3Dmarks in 3DMark03 and sadly, Kinc couldn't manage over 20K in 3DMark05, so his score is a mere 17,560"

17k in 3dmark05 with a single 7800GTX? That doesn't sound right, it seems like that would be an overclocked SLI score.

Other than that. That's one sweet overclock.

Kinc was using SLI for those runs. No way is that possible with one card.

Wow, i wonder what would happen if he were to drop a pair of the 512 GTX's in there when they come out.

Lol what would happen if you took off the LN2 all of a sudden :p. Seriously though, that must put that 7Ghz Intel to shame I saw a while back. However, none of those could possible be Windows stable.

None of the speed records are able to run anything artifact free. They almost always freeze up or shut off before a stable speed is reached and benchmarked. Look at the people who got the X1800XT to 1ghz core 950mhz memory, they were basically only seeing artifacts, buts still posted such high scores because 3D Mark doesnt look at artifacts, just overall speed.

Yep, which is why 3DMark isn't the most reliable. There ought to be some form of validation that checks for artifacts prior to the test run and perhaps immediately after as well.
