3.5mm male to 3.5mm male cable needed

as the title says, i need a male to male 3.5mm stereo cable. I want a high quality cable and it needs to be no more than 3 feet long. 2 feet would probably be optimal. does anyone know where i can find one?

As always, you can't go wrong with monoprice for all your cable needs. They have great quality on the cheap.

Unfortunately, they don't seem to have anything less than 6 feet.

Radioshack may also have something.

BTW, everytime I see "male to male" regarding cables, I think of that one thread from ATOT where the one dude's mom thought he was gay because she was cleaning his room and found a box for "male to male" cables of some kind.

lol, thats funny.

well, i have 2 6 ft cables from radioshack alreadt. one gold plated and one not gold plated.
both cause horrendous interference/noise when used with my mp3 player connected to my head unit's aux port.

And to further add to the shame, it was only 3.5mm.

Are you certain the noise is coming from the wire and not the input? You might compare to the Aux in on your computer's sound card.

I got my cable from Radio Shack, 6' long. Its 1/8" male stereo mini plug to 1/8" male stereo mini plug. Dunno if its the same as the one you want as 1/8" is slightly smaller than 3.5mm. I think it cost something like 7$

Buy two gold plated plugs at radio shack, then buy some shielded cable and make it yourself.

I do this alot and its very easy to do.
