Trying to find one for my car but figured this wouldn't go into the garage subforum.

What I'm looking for is this but powered by USB and with auto-on when powered. I'm trying to not use batteries because my car will get very hot in the summer and I'd rather the adaptor not explode. I'd like auto-on and all that because if I'm messing with an adaptor I might as well use an aux cord.

Suppose it can be, though I'd like to use the cigarette lighter to charge my phone if I need to. I have a 2 port cigarette USB charger that I would use for that.
 
Hrm. My car has 4 so I've never worried about it I guess.

I use one called "BlueTrip". It works great though the reviews lately seem not so good. The one I have has absolutely no issues though.

Could always get a power splitter.
