i noticed that my ti4400 was only running at agp 2x. however, i can only select 1x, 2x in the bios even though my motherboard and ti4400 both support agp 4x. Vagp in the bios reads around 3.3v. i'm pretty sure it should read somewhere around 1.5v. anyone have any solutions?

I think the VAGP reading is just a quirk in the bios. I have a 8K3A and mine reads the same thing. (3.3). Why you are only getting to choose 2x I dont know :(

If the card was getting 3.3V (and is a 1.5V only card), my guess is that it'd be fried by now.

You're confusing matters.

The voltage you see in BIOS is the SUPPLY voltage to the AGP card, which has always been and ever is 3.3V. The SIGNALLING voltage is what changed through 1x/2x, 4x, 8x AGP modes (3.3V, 1.5V, 0.8V respectively).
