That's why you kick the machine. Hard.

the security guard and cleaning guy were right there, not really an option. i could have waited and come back, but then one of them probably would have spotted the "dangler" and got the 2 for $1

You could have asked them to help you get the candy out.

People get hurt all the time from having vending machines fall on them. I have learned to not put money in a vending machine that has ripped me off once.

that sucks but why would they pull the vending machine towards them if their candy is stuck, just push it hard

They probably try to rock the machine back and forth and it rocks too much.

The company that I used to work for had a vending maching that they stocked with sandwiches and burritos and stuff. It was one of those where you chose your item and it unlocked a sliding door that you could open to retrieve.

The item was on a lazy susan kind of thing that spun around. If you positioned everything just right, you could put in your 2 dollars and snag 6 dollars worth of food. 🙂

yeah, it was barely hanging on

i saved bag #3 for tomorrow 🙂

I remember at high school they installed this great ice cream vending machine. But the funny thing was if you held the change return down, the drawer would open. The machine was in a cage, and was easyly shaken without fear of being crushed. Plenty of free ice cream, good times.

At my junior high we briefly had an ice cream machine - someone figured out that if you unplugged it and then plugged it in again one of each kind of ice cream would be ejected. The machine only stayed one more day after we learned that.
