Remember not to buy any Square Enix games other than Hitman today, they will go on sale for cheaper later on, and you will kick yourself.

I'm guessing there will be a Deus Ex day, a Dungeon Siege day, and a Just Cause day.

I'd say a Kane & Lynch day, but that series isn't terribly popular and they probably wouldn't dignify it with it's own sale day. I already own the games though, and if there's anyone who'd like to play Kane & Lynch: Dead Men with me, then hit me up. I started playing it a while ago, but I was by myself and I realized it would be much more fun if I had a co-op partner.

Dungeon siege 1 was fun on my geforce 3 card back in the day. DS 1 -2 would be good for a laptop or prebuilt that only has integrated graphics. I have DS 3 but have only played the demo so far thanks to SWTOR taking over my gaming life.

If they offer a Deus Ex pack I'll probably pick that up, and people here say good things about Just Cause 2 for sandbox blowing stuff up.

Dungeon Siege any good? And which one to get?

Dungeon Siege (1) is good - it's the first game from Chris Taylor after Total Annihilation. The second one is OK, tries to fix some issues from the first one while introducing other bugs. If you can get them for under $10, you'll have a lot of time on your hands!

Well unless something changes DS2 is only available as a freebie for buying DS3 iirc; DS1 I don't recall, sadly the bundled DS2 is still single player only last I checked. Still fun but I'd love to play it co-op.

They're both enjoyable hack and slashes, DS3 looks better of course but has more linear areas and character growth. They're both pretty easy (well, DS3 is if you make sure you dodge) and story isn't a real prominent component for either of them. DS2 is longer with more side quests, loot, and character building available so its more of a traditional experience whereas DS3 is more suited to an arcadey/co-op style of play.

The first Dungeon Siege is fantastic; I've reinstalled and played it many times (and about to again).

The second added 'super' power moves, which made it incredibly easy, and it just didn't feel like the same game. After a few hours of kill one or two enemies, then finishing off 10 with a no-skill power move... it got a bit boring. The thief guy was cool though.

The third I'm waiting for a $5 sale because of the bad reviews. I'm guesing it's DS 2 + more easy linear play.

Yea but it's worth it anyway.

Oh Vana'diel <3

Yes. Level 15 already. This game has aged beautifully and I still love it. Have to say for the positive I've learned a lot foraying into other MMO's I already have 50k from selling stuff on the AH I used to vendor when i played when i was younger.

I might just get the Dungeon Siege pack. It's only $10 and it gives you Dungeon Siege and Dungeon Siege 2 as well.

Deus Ex HR is $7.50, I don't think I'll be able to resist this one.

I bought it for $10, and I thought it was good game, I did the hacking and all.. took me 32 hours to finish the game. It is very good game.. other than those boss fights.

How the hell did it take you 32 hours to finish the game?

I never did like the first one but hte second and third one are not bad. A lot of folks really disliked the 3rd one; but in all honestly I thought it was the best (from an rpg perspective) of the bunch.

The original Deus Ex and System Shock 2 are probably the two best old school single player PC games ever.

I lost many weekends of my life playing both of those games huddled in the dark immersed in head phones playing non stop 48+ hours day and night.

Sounds about right to me. I think it took me 28 hours.

Some of us are completionists.

It took me 19 hours, all quests completed, no kills, stun only, no alarms, no notice, no typhoon, hardest difficulty.

It was such an easy game... one of the easiest I've ever played. There was ammo lying around everywhere, take downs are basically cheating, and exp is given out like candy. All the hidden routes were obvious too.

Only part that gave me any difficulty at all was the Malik fight and that was only because there was a time limit that is hard to keep to when you only have a single shot close range stun gun
