He must have an engineering sample as the clock multiplier is WRONG.
It Lists the chip as a 3.2 cpu which should have a clock of 16.

Oh well I can't wait to see what my water rig can do :)
My water setup now....

I wish I could get an official answer from Asus if my P4P800 will support a Prescott or not :(

I got conformation on getting my 3.2, unfortunely it won't be here until the second week of Feb :(

That clockspeed on such low voltage is highly impressive! Edit: the CPU-Z shot shows it's an ES right on it.

I have an asus p4p800, and last i checked asus's website proclaims prescott support .....

IMHO, Intel MUST transition to SOI very quickly if they want to stay in the game. Intel junkies should hope along with the new socket comes SOI. Look how much success AMD has had with it... Intel should swallow their pride and follow suit on this one.

Where is AMD's success? I don't see any 90nm chips coming out from them this quarter, what are you talking about?

I don't deny Prescott is a hot chip....it is a few degrees higher than Northwood at the same speed. If you can find ways to cool it down properly, i am sure it can scale up really well.
Interesting....... At least one rumor appears to be true...
